Consider/Approve Amendments to the General Purpose School Fund

Preliminary Matters:

Attached you will find amendments to the 2008 – 2009 fiscal year budget for the General Purpose School Fund. These amendments will be presented to the County Budget Committee for approval to be presented to the County Commission. The resolution for each of these amendments explains the necessity and can be accessed as follows:

Vocational Education Amendment – $3,501
Adult Education Amendment – $300
Special Education Amendment – $7,500
Maintenance of Plant Amendment – $20,000
Operation of Plant Amendment – $60,000

Staff Recommendation:

I recommend approval of the amendments to the 2008 – 2009 fiscal year budget for the General Purpose School Fund.
